For W Financial Mortgage Fund and Winter & Company, a rapidly expanding commercial real estate firm located in midtown Manhattan, we were recruited to provide onsite assistance for two existing websites. The tasks varied, including search engine optimization, code streamlining, validating existing code, implementing a new variant of the existing design, adding new elements and content, establishing consistency for all forms, as well as work for print and online advertisements.
It was imperative to perform design changes and implement them while retaining the entire framework online, as the high volume of visitors made any oversight inacceptable.
Another challenge was working with existing code that had been implemented several years ago, when standards and valid code were not as much of a concern as they are today.
